KIA ORANA,
This week we have been doing some prints at first we started to draw them out them let Mr print them out then after they were printed we had to colour the back so it would show on the paper that we would print it on.
Then after that we had to put it on something I don't know what it is called but we had to put the printed paper on but the side that was coloured in art pencil and trace over it.
After it was traced over we had to check if it went on the board thing which it did and it look so pretty. I liked mine and then it was time to carve it so we got out these carving tools to carve the board thing. How about we say we finished the carving part.
So again as I was saying we finished the carving part, then we had to get ink and put it on something then spread it out. We had to lay it down on the news paper that was on the bench and put the ink on it.
After that was done we started to put the paper on top of it before it dries and roll it down with a rolling pin which was easier than the ink part. So after the ink was on the paper we had to let it dry then I did another print and that was it.
Thank you for viewing my blog, please if you can leave a comment and have a wonderful day.
Kia ora Akimano,
ReplyDeleteYour are making a good effort to describe the process of making a lino-print of your personal logo design. You can always go to my teaching site to find out the names of materials or tools that you cannot remember. Also, your print looks quite well done. Adding a photograph of your work here would allow others to see how well you printed it. What did you think about your personal logo design?
